Antonio completes move to Forest
Wednesday winger Michail Antonio has completed his transfer to Championship rivals Nottingham Forest.
The former Reading man has penned a three-year deal at the City Ground for a fee believed to be in excess of £1.5 million but which has not been disclosed by either club.
The Wandsworth-born attacker spent two years at Hillsborough after initially arriving on loan from the Royals but he missed a large chunk of last season through injury.
Antonio told the official Forest website: 'Sheffield Wednesday are a similar-sized club to Forest. They both have great fanbases and at Wednesday the supporters showed great belief in me so I'm hoping to experience the same here.
'I'm really pleased to be here. Nottingham Forest is a massive club, it has great potential to reach the Premier League and, on a personal level, I'm here to better myself as a player and get as far as I can.'
Antonio made 83 appearances in the blue and white stripes, scoring 18 goals.
Owls boss Stuart Gray may now use the transfer fee to bolster his attacking options, but a bid reported to be in for St Johnstone striker Stevie May.
