Owls Loan Jalal

Owls boss Brian Laws has plunged in to the transfer market to complete the loan signing of Woking number one stopper Shwan Jalal with immediate effect.

The move comes a day before the end of the loan transfer window and just two weeks after the Owls completed another loan deal for goalkeeper Mark Crossley - and plunges the future of Chris Adamson in to doubt.

The Irqp-born stopper moved from Hastings United to Tottenham Hotspur in 2001 where he went on to impress on loan at Woking before making the move permanant in 2004 after being released from White Hart Lane.

Jalal had two days training with Championship rivals Leeds United at the end of September but failed the impress the coaches at Elland Road.

The stopper is likely to be Wednesday's number two stopper behind fellow loanee Mark Crossley but could make the move permanant in the January transfer window should he impress.
