Manager's Musings: Pre-Foxes

Wednesday boss Brian Laws is hoping his Owls side can continue their impressive recent form and capitalise on the 'indifferent' form of Rob Kelly's Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.

The Owls gaffer is well aware that Leicester are going through a difficult spell of late and hopes to put the hosts under pressure early on to give his side the advantage.

He told the official SWFC site: 'They're under a little bit of pressure with the home fans not being happy. If we start well, will their fans get on their backs? It's not a nice feeling for anybody and I would hate to see our players have that kind of pressure on them. Players can freeze, do negative things and make mistakes.'

Leicester were one of the form teams of the division when they visited Hillsborough last month - but two goals from Marcus Tudgay saw the Owls sweep them aside and put them on a downward spiral, with the talk of Milan Mandaric the only silver lining on a dark cloud.

Laws continued: 'Leicester have been an indifferent side over the last few weeks. They've been hot and cold and aren't going through a good patch.'

Wednesday fans are reminded that the game is now sold out to away fans and no further tickets will be allocated on the day.
