Owls Face Sunday Blues

Wednesday have received confirmation that their FA Cup Third Round tie with Manchester City at Hillsborough will take place on Sunday, January 7 at 3pm.

The tie has been moved to avoid a clash with the Sheffield United v Swansea City FA Cup Third Round tie that takes place over the same weekend at Bramall Lane.

As previously revealed on Vital Sheffield Wednesday, the club have also confirmed that ticket prices for the clash with Stuart Pearce's men will be the usual matchday prices

Season ticket holders have until Friday, December 29 to claim their own seat.

Should a replay be required to decide the tie, it will take place at the City of Manchester stadium on Wednesday, January 17 (kick-off 7.45pm) with reduced tickets being offered by City.

So it's not on TV then? Why not move the blunts match instead?!

Probably because they won't get as many fans at the match than us? Man City will be bringing a few and I can't see Swansea bringing loads.

Great news it is on a Sunday, it will not clash with Haxey Hood, so I will be there with a massive hang over, and might get on Calender and look North Twice in one weekend ?

Will our lot turn up ? Usually at Cup Games we have a no show, even when they were charging £10 a game. If nobody can be arsed to turn up for a tenner, they Mr Allen is right to charge normal prices, as we all know the loyal ones will turn up anyway, so the club will make more than lowering gate prices to hope a few stragglers can drag their backsides from in front of TV

Will it be on the TV???
