Boyd In No Rush To Decide Future

Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd will take his time over deciding his future according to his agent.

Boyd, 22, will travel south of the border to speak with Wednesday after a 'very good offer' was accepted by the Scottish club on Sunday.

Sources in Scotland think the 17-goal hitman is holding out for a move to his boyhood club Rangers, but the SPL champions are yet to make contact with the club.

Boyds agent said: ''There are still a number of days until the transfer window opens and we then have another month in which it will remain open.''

''Alex McLeish might feel that he has to react quickly to stop Kris going somewhere else. They should be completely aware that we are taking our time.''

''Unless we get a remarkable offer then it's in everbody's interests to sit and wait. I cannot see this issue being resolved that quickly''

Boyd leads the SPL scoring charts this season after netting 17 times this season.
