Owls Face Potential Saints Tie

Owls Face Potential Saints Tie

Wednesday or Manchester City have been drawn against Southampton on home soil should they progress to the Fourth Round of the FA Cup.

The Owls have already enjoyed a superb 3-3 draw with George Burley's men at Hillsborough in December, with Mark Crossley netting a last minute equaliser for Wednesday to give them a share of the spoils.

Steve Maclean ensured Wednesday had another bit of the cheery as he levelled a Georgios Samaras penalty on 78 minutes to give the Owls a well-deserved draw against Stuart Pearce's men.

The ties will be played on Friday 26, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 January with no coverage yet to be announced by the BBC or Sky.

Decent draw for us, a winnable game and at home. Come on Wednesday!

Certainly a good game last time but not exactly a 'plum' tie is it? Remember, we have the slight issue of Man City away first :)
