Owls Duo To Return

Injured Owls duo Richard Wood and John Hills are set to make the step-up to full fitness as they feature for Wednesday's reserve team against Stoke City this afternoon.

Wood has been sidelined through injury for almost a year with a groin injury and is hoping there are no further set-backs following a traumatic time on the treatment table - and will be like a new signing for Owls boss Brian Laws.

Hills has also been in the treatment room for the past month after picking up an injury in the Owls 3-1 victory over West Brom in November and will also feature against the Potters this afternoon (kick-off 2pm).

There will also be a number of familiar faces hoping to impress the Owls gaffer, including David Graham returning in a blue and white shirt following his loan spell at Bradford City, as well as Yoann Folly, Drew Talbot and Burton O'Brien.

Wednesday Line-up:

Chris Adamson
Liam McMenamin
John Hills
Yoann Folly
Richard Wood
Mark Beevers
Drew Talbot
Burton O'Brien
Barry Corr
David Graham
Sean McAllister

Substitutes

James Kay
Aaron Jameson
Sam Liversidge
David McClements
Rocky Lekaj
Luke Boden

Will be good to see both back and adding more competition for places in defence.
