6,000 Owls To City!

Wednesday have completely sold out of their 6,000-plus allocation for tomorrow night's FA Cup Third Round Replay against Stuart Pearce's Manchester City side at Eastlands.

The news will be a big boost for Brian Laws and his men as they look to progress to the next round of the prestigious competition and upset the form book on their first visit to City's new ground.

Big praise has to go to both clubs for setting the prices at a reasonable £15 for adults and £5 for concessions, but with the game being shown live on Sky, the Owls travelling support is still impressive and has been typical of the 'Barmy Army' all season.

The two sides couldn't be separated in the first fixture at Hillsborough as Steve Maclean levelled a Georgios Samaras opener in a fiery clash between the two teams last Sunday.

And the winner will go on to host George Burley's Southampton in the Fourth Round of the competition - a match which will take place on Saturday, January 27.
