Owls Air Guitar Record!

Wednesday fans could be in the Guinness World Record book on Saturday afternoon - as they join Sheffield rockers Saxon to break the record for the most people playing air guitar at the same time!

A bumper crowd is expected at Hillsborough, with over 6,000 Sunderland fans also making the trip South for the match, and both sets of fans could create a new official world record for playing air guitar.

The band will take to the Hillsborough pitch at half-time on Saturday afternoon to try the record attempt. How officials will decide whether everyone is taking part is another matter...

And Wednesday fans will also be hoping for a double celebration at half-time as Brian Laws and his men look to get back to winning ways following a disappointing start to 2007.

Yet another purile pathetic event to have at half time. So we will have to listen to that *****pot announcer we have, encouraging us to get involved, when all we want is to hear the half time scores being read out.
