Vital Pre-Match - Carlos Ahead Of Owls At QPR

Wednesday are back in London to face 'bouncing` Ian Holloway, the R`s manager enjoyed a noisy night at S6 last May when Sheffield Wednesday defeated Brighton 2 - 0 in the Playoff Semi-Finals. The R`s manager is now looking to dent Wednesday`s participation in the EFL Championship Playoffs as the two sides meet in to the capital this Easter Monday.

Loftus Road has always been a weird hunting ground for the Yorkshire side with differing results over the years, more in our
Head2Head.

Following a late goal against Cardiff from the returning Forestieri to earn the Owls an important win on Good Friday, meaning Wednesday secured their third win on the bounce over Neil 'Colin` Warnock men. A result he did not take well but that's S2 bitterness for you!

Speaking ahead of the Owls journey South, Carlos told swfc.co.uk:

"We don`t expect anything other than a tough game, we must be 100% to achieve points," he said.

"We know it will be a difficult challenge to us but we also know it will be difficult to them."

Backed by over 3,000 Wednesdayites at Loftus Road in another standard Sold-Out away end, the players and coach aren't immune to the impact our fans can have as the run-in get interesting, as Carlos added:

"We are positive, it`s the kind of stadium where everybody likes to play - a typical English stadium, close to the fans, our supporters will travel to London for sure and we like this kind of environment.

"It will be an interesting game."
