Owls Linked With Johnson
Wednesday are one of a number of clubs to have been linked with a move for pacey Bradford winger Jermaine Johnson this week.
Owls boss Brian Laws attended the Intersonic Stadium at the weekend to see Johnson play in the Bantam's 2-0 defeat to Yeovil Town - and could make a move for the hitman before the close of the January transfer window.
And Bradford have already rejected a £250,000 approach from Championship leaders Derby County - but Bantams boss Colin Todd admits he could lose the former Oldham man should the right offer come in.
He told the Telegraph and Argus: 'As manager, I am governed by the chairman but if I have to lose players then it becomes very, very difficult.
'I don't know what's going to happen but there were people there watching JJ. There has been a lot of interest in him and I'm sure there will be in Omar Daley.
'I keep bringing these players in but who is going to get the benefit? It's something I just have to accept and still try to get the best out of the players.'
And the Owls will have the majority of the £2.5m picked up from the sale of defender Madjid Bougherra this week to spend on new players - but Laws is still unsure whether to use it now or wait until the summer.
