'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Owls' True Colours

Ahead of the big Yorkshire derby against Leeds United - Vital Sheffield Wednesday contributor Mark Hollins has his say on whether Wednesday will show their true colours at Elland Road...

-------------------------------------------

'What breaks in a moment may take years to mend.'

There are moments in everyone's day, week, month, year and life which define where you are in the universe, in your life and in journey. Sometimes we embrace and show what can be known as our 'true colours' (Blue and white of course)... sometimes we shy away... sadly for us Owls, thinking back without considering Cardiff May 05, the latter is often the reality.

For Brian Laws, Sheffield Wednesday, Owls supporters across the land, Leeds fans, Dennis Wise and... you guessed it... Macca the man, Today's game is a big one.

Win for either will give a sure fire indication of what the last lap of the season will bring.

Dog fight for L**ds? Perhaps a sniff of the varnish on the underside of the trap door...

Almost confirmed relegation for the not so long ago European wanderers at Elland road?

Done and dusted 06/07 for Wednesday?

Dog fight for the blue and whites....We all know Wednesday rarely win in times of great need... will we continue to show the colours of recent times or will some magic truer colour be unveiled?

Another goal from Steve to further shove in the face of his employers or a no show... and we all know what no show's lead to in the Laws regime...

What of Laws?! Brilliant win and perhaps an breather from the pressure cooker he is currently stewing in?... a slightly more obvious defeat and more strange excuses and tactics?

Dennis Wise...who cares.

It's hard to forecast here... even though I have already suggested afternoon gloom for Wednesday and a light ray of sun for L**ds.

Which ever way the pendulum swings in today's potential epic, one thing is for sure...We all hate L**ds s**m... no seriously...the table will provide a very interesting read come 5pm.

UTO!!!

Today is such a big day. A win for us, and we will almost be safe, and it will just be enough to push Leeds into oblivion
