Vital Colchester United editor Dean answers our questions this week - as Geraint Williams' men make the long journey to Hillsborough on Tuesday night.
-------------------------------------------
1. Its been a fantastic season for you, hasn't it?
A great season, and beyond our wildest dreams, 5th from bottom would have been taken by many in August.
2. Are you still hopeful of a play-off spot?
If I am honest yes, however I never did see it as a realistic ambition, and like I said staying in the division was the number one priority.
3. What do you think the secret of your success is?
Pride, passion, desire and a group of players who had nothing to lose, everyone had written them off before the season started, they never doubted their own ability and neither did the manager or the fans.
4. And I take it you're a big fan of Geraint Williams?
Without a doubt, football under him at times has been exciting, and as one of the teams that have been on the other end of it I am sure you will agree. Although Phil Parkinson got us into this division I have found this years games more exciting and the football at times has been of the highest standard. I think our away form expresses how we miss the influence of the more defensive minded Parkinson, however with respect to Phil I still prefer Williams.
5. Who have been your key players this season?
There has been so many, although the strike pairing of Cureton and Iwelumo with 30 Goals is the obvious one, the likes of Watson and Izzet in Midfield and Brown and Baldwin in defence, I think it goes to prove we have a team devoid of superstars but full of individuals who are intent at working hard for the team.
6. What's the latest on your new ground?
Planning permission granted it looks likely we will be playing there at the start of the 2008/2009 season (fingers crossed)
7. What was your view on the Greg Halford sale?
A great move for Greg who after the club refused to allow him to move on at the start of the season got his head down and played for the team where a lesser person would have sulked and not put the effort in, Greg more than repaid the club and the fans over this season and has scored some cracking goals, the one against you at Layer Road has to be the pick of the season.
8. If you could take one Wednesday player to Colchester who would it be and why?
It seems he has been around for ages but one name who sticks in my mind is Wade Small, a busy midfielder not unlike our own Izzet.
9. If you could send one Colchester player to Wednesday who would it be and why?
I wouldn't want to send you any our squad is wafer thin as it is but any of the main settled first team would do a job for you.
10. What's your most memorable Owls v Colchester match?
The home fixture this season sticks in the mind but they always seem to be great games with plenty of goals.
11. What's your score prediction?
I would be happy with a draw, however our away form is something to be desired, I think you will be looking for revenge after the game at Layer Road, I feel you may win this one 2-1.
