Owls Striker Completes Move

Owls Striker Completes Move

As reported earlier on Vital Sheffield Wednesday, Wednesday striker Barry Corr has completed a loan move to League Two side Swindon Town until the end of the season.

Corr has been out of favour at Hillsborough under boss Brian Laws and will re-unite with former boss Paul Sturrock, the man who brought him to the club from the Leeds United youth set-up.

Owls boss Brian Laws said: 'We would like to wish Barry Corr well at Swindon Town. He has not had much of a look-in at Sheffield Wednesday but I am sure the loan move to Swindon will be a great experience for him.'

Corr has dropped down the pecking order at S6 after the arrival of Laws, and is expected to leave Hillsborough on a permanant basis at the end of the current campaign.

The Irish striker will go straight in to the Robins squad to face Lincoln City at the weekend.

maybe, he might just do ok in league 2, but they will probably be promoted to league 1 and he will struggle there, ps had always had favourites and i think corr is one of those.
