'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Otsemobor Linked With Owls

Crewe Alexandra right-back Jon Otsemobor has attracted the interest of a host of clubs including Wednesday and Leeds United according to the players agent.

Alex boss Dario Gradi has already hinted that the former Liverpool player may have already agreed to join Championship club Norwich at the end of the season with Canaries boss Peter Grant confirming his interest in the player.

But agent Eric Walters has revealed that nothing has yet been finalised between the parties and the player is looking at a number of other options open to him when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Nothing has been finalised yet,' Walters told The Sentinel.

'It's true Norwich are interested, but there has also been interest from Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United. We will be leaving the final decision until May, when we will speak to other clubs.'

The links with Otsemobor could spark further rumours that the right-back could be drafted in as a replacement for the highly-rated Frank Simek who has been linked with a summer move to the Premiership with clubs such as Everton and Middlesbrough showing their interest.

The 24-year-old started his career off as a trainee at Liverpool but made just four appearances for the Red before being loaned out to Hull City, Bolton and Crewe and the right-back made a permanent switch to Rotherham before Crewe snapped hi up a year later.
