Chicken Pox Misery For JJ
Wednesday winger Jermaine Johnson will have to wait for his return to the Owls side following injury - after contracting chicken pox this week.
The former Bradford and Bolton midfielder has been out of action in recent weeks with a knee injury sustained in the draw with Plymouth, and was set to return to action in the Welsh capitol on Saturday.
But Owls boss Brian Laws revealed the Jamiacan international was sent home earlier in the week to rest after contracting chicken pox - and could miss both the Owls' Easter matches against the Bluebirds and the visit of Ipswich Town on Monday.
Johnson has made just four first-team appearances for the club since making the move from the Bantams in the January transfer window after sitting out an initial three-game suspension and then picking up the knee injury.
And it now looks as though he could well miss two more - making his return to action in the Owls' live Sky clash with West Brom on Friday.
