Owls Reveal Price Increases

Wednesday have today revealed season ticket and matchday ticket prices for next season - with prices going up for fans.

Tickets in all areas of Hillsborough have gone up by 2 for the 2007/2008 campaign while season tickets have also been increased.

And Owls chairman Dave Allen insists the prices will provide good value for money as the club look to achieve their goal of a top six finish under Brian Laws next season.

'Our season ticket packages for the new season have been benchmarked against a wide range of clubs and I believe that they provide good value for money,' Allen told the official SWFC website.

'Next season should be one where we can go some way to achieving our goal of getting back to the Premier League.'

And boss Brian Laws has urged fans to continue their support for the club and help him increase his transfer kitty by splashing out on a season ticket.

Laws said: 'Our players are a young and talented group on the whole but we are obviously keen to strengthen in that department as much as possible.

'Success on the pitch can only be achieved with quality throughout the playing squad and you will drive that. Season ticket sales will determine a large proportion of next season's football budget so I would urge you again to continue your excellent support and buy a season ticket to help us achieve our goals.'

First the ID card scheme and now this, not a big hit with the fans eh?

Why are people still complaining about ID Scheme ? Who cares if your picture is on your ticket ? They have done it for a while with Junior Season tickets to stop people getting in for cheap. It must be the ones that are up to no good that don't want them.
