Brum Tickets Like Hot Cakes

Tickets for the Owls final away match of the season at Birmingham City are selling like hot cakes after the first batch were sold out in just one day.

The Blues will be expecting a bumper crowd for their final league match at St Andrews which could prove pivotal in to whether Steve Bruce's men make the automatic spots of the play-off places.

And officials from Birmingham are sending the tickets in batches to S6, with the first selling out on their first day of sale on Easter Monday ahead of the clash with Ipswich Town.

The Wednesday ticket office have announced that they expect to receive a further allocation later this week, giving season ticket holders the opportunity to grab their tickets for a match which could also have an effect on the Owls' slim chances of a play-off place.

Despite Birmingham's impressive form this season the Blues fans haven't been out to support their team in numbers with an average gate of just 22,058 so far this term.

And Wednesday should be set to receive the normal 3,000 allocation for the match, with the possibility of 4,500 Owls fans being allocated should Brum fail to sell out.
