Mowbray Wary Of 'Consistent' Owls

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray is impressed with Wednesday's nine-game unbeaten run - but has insisted the Owls will get the inconsistency of a defeat somewhere along the line.

West Brom go in to the clash with the Owls knowing they need three points to keep their automatic promotion hopes back on track, and to get some kind of form going in to the final furlong of the season.

And Mowbray hopes Wednesday's winning run will come to an end tonight.

'Wednesday are nine unbeaten and a lot of clubs have gone on similar sorts of runs. We did ourselves,' he told the official West Brom website.

'They are a very hard-working team and nine games is pretty consistent. But you often get the inconsistency of a defeat somewhere along the line. We've got to hope that comes for them on Friday.'

And despite the Baggies' recent rocky form, Mowbray is confident his men can kick-off from the impressive victory against Norwich City at Carrow Road on Monday with another victory in front of the Sky cameras tonight.

'I want the team to express themselves and try to win football matches,' said Mowbray.

'The players did okay on Monday. They dominated the game in a pressure situation.

'They kept their nerve reasonably well at Norwich and I've no fears about that on Friday night.'
