Hoolahan Linked With Owls

Hoolahan Linked With Owls

Livingston's highly-rated Irish midfielder Wes Hoolahan has been linked with a summer move to Hillsborough according to reports in the Daily Record today.

The 24-year-old midfielder is currently on loan at League One club Blackpool after Livingstone got relegated from the SPL last season, and has helped the Tangerines to a play-off spot with his impressive performances this term.

And his form has also attracted the attention of Wednesday's Championship rivals Coventry City and Hull City who are also keen on securing his services this summer.

Hoolahan made his name with the SPL club last season in the SPL, making 14 appearances for John Robertson's men but was unable to stop his side falling to relegation.

But his loan spell at Bloomfield Road this season has seen him net eight goals for Simon Grayson's men and catch the eye of a number of scouts from the Championship and other League One clubs.

Hmm from Livingstone? Could he be the next JP McGovern, or Burton O'Brien?
