'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dreaming Of The Premiership

Dare the Owls snatch a place in the Championship play-offs? Mark Hollins keeps on living the dream - for a week at least!...

-------------------------------------------

'The best reason for having dreams is that in dreams no reasons are necessary.'

'You never reach the promised land. You can march towards it.'

'Live your beliefs and you can turn the world around.'

Like a snowball filled with blue and white shirts the belief brigade grows faster and larger with every result...

Not believing is not as easy as it may sound... I think part of every owl believes.

I've said believe so many times the word has almost lost all meaning!

Search the media for 'owls' and 'promotion' this season and articles will be rare, unless you look on the OS or Vital of course...

No one is noticing the march of the 'Monster Trucks'. Stoke and Southampton are 'battling for the play offs' yet only better us by a single point...

The victory against Cov wasn't pretty because it didn`t need to be. We were lucky by all accounts, but we won; I think that was football's way of handing us the three points we should have got against Birmingham before the turn of the year

To that very place on Saturday we must ride!

Imagine the perfect revenge - battered in victory - sold!

This time next week, we could be planning the end of the season midweek return to St Andrews for a second leg of destiny!

So much to think about, so much to dream about! So much to cancel...

So we're relying on some heavy slip-ups and heroics from Adamson and Co, when did we EVER do anything the easy way?

I'm sure everyone has done the many calculations that propel us into the top 6... 'We`ve made up 13 points in the last ten, so with 2 and 2 to go...', 'Palace did it', Stoke and Colchester play each other'.

Palace didn't cut it this fine by the way!

I'm sure DA is kicking himself for the lack of investment in Jan, as we all keep hind sighting, but he has been quiet since then so lets bask in his humbleness in this crucial point in the season, get out of the boardroom and onto the pitch (not literally Dave). Even in times of great prosper we find things to moan about!

Wednesdayite and takeovers take back seat for the next month; it goes for booing and dissing. The promise land is but a nats whisker away, if I find ANYONE not crossing their fingers...

Believe, hope and pray! We'll do it the Wednesday way!

Who would DARE to predict now?

Blues 1-2 Wednesday

EI EI EI O!
