'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Adamson Ready To Rumble

Wednesday stopper Chris Adamson has revealed anything is possible ahead of the Owls' vital clash against promotion-hopefuls Birmingham City on Saturday.

The former West Brom 'keeper has made just two starts for the club this season - but will be between the sticks for the Owls' final two matches of the season after Iain Turner was recalled to Everton this week following his loan spell in S6.

And Adamson can't wait to get his chance in goal for Wednesday and try and help push towards a top-six finish after a run of eleven matches without defeat.

'It is always exciting, thrillinng and high-stake playing a game for Sheffield Wednesday, no matter what sort of game it is,' he told the official SWFC site.

'It has been difficult not playing as many games I would have liked to. But I'm contratced to Sheffield Wednesday and will always give my best for the club.'

'It has been a good end to the season for everyone invovled, fingers crossed we can keep it going beyond that - anything is possible in football. The lads will be trying their hearts out to have a good end to the season and there is a great team spirit among the lads with the characters we have around the place.'

The Owls still need to win both of their remaining matches against the Blues and Norwich City to have a chance of reaching the play-offs - and Adamson is likely to be a key part of any Wednesday success this term.

stfu, i bet u two **** do a better than him, just give him a chance for god sakes, just coz he played badly against wrexham dunt mean he'll be bad on saturday

His history isn't the best, we all know that, but this is a time for every man, women and child to stand firmly behind the boys and support them in every way we can. Negativity breeds quickly and can easily be transferred to the players on the pitch.

i wouldn't be far off being better than him and i'm not a professional footballer! not sure i could class adamson as one either! but if he pulls it off on saturday i'll never bad mouth him again! but i'm entitled to my opinion as are you!!!
