Rocky! Rocky! Rocky!

Promising Owls youngster Rocky Lekaj enhanced his growing reputation at Hillsborough by netting in Wednesday reserves' 2-0 win over Huddersfield on Wednesday.

The young Norweigen international has featured for the Owls' first team twice this season after impressing on his reserves outings and he did no harm in another call-up by Brian Laws with an impressive performance against the Terriers.

Midfielder Burton O'Brien was influential in both goals, firstly seeing his shot parried allowing Todd Wood to slot home the Owls' first before his superb pass put Lekaj away to double the lead and secure the win.

Youngster Richard O'Donnell got a run out in goal after Chris Adamson was called up to play for the first team at Birmingham City on Saturday, while more experienced members of the first team including John Hills, Steve Adams and Yoann Folly also featured in the victory.

Wednesday: O'Donnell, Adams (McMenamin 82), Hills (Kay 85), McAllister, Liversidge, Beevers, Folly, O'Brien, Bradley (Boden 16), Wood, Lekaj. Unused subs: Jameson, Stothard.

Huddersfield: Eastwood, Racchi, Codman, Berrett, McCombe (Killock 63), Wilson, Malcher, Ahmed (Hallam 46), McAliskey (Bailey 46), Akins, Hand. Unused subs: Smithies, Jackson.
