Owls Player Of The Season

Brunt, Whelan, Burton or Simek? Who do you think has been Sheffield Wednesday's star performer during this campaign? It's time to cast your vote in the Vital SWFC Player Of The Season Award.

The Owls' mercurial winger Chris Brunt currently tops the scoring charts alongside Steve MacLean: his performances this season have caught the eye of Premiership clubs and he's now a fixture in the Northern Ireland senior squad.

Glenn Whelan has repaid the faith shown in him by Brian Laws with some driving performances in midfield and an eye for goal: despite mid-season competition for his place, his name is now one of the first on the team sheet.

American international Frankie Simek is probably the most consistent Wednesday performer this season, with some sterling performances in the back four, becoming a crowd favourite for his tough tackling and commitment.

Deon Burton's late season form is catching the eye, the Jamaican front man finally bagging the goals to match his positional play and awareness of his strike partners.

Or would you put the spotlight on a different player? Captain courageous Lee Bullen? Tommy Spurr's great effort in breaking through to the squad this year? Ace marksman Marcus Tudgay? It's your choice: you can have YOUR say on the Vital Sheffield Wednesday forum!
