Owls Greatest Ever - Nominations

From Ernie Blenkinsop to Tommy Spurr.. a long and illustrious line of Owls players ancient and modern.

During the summer months, we here at Vital SWFC will be running a series of polls to decide our Greatest Ever Owls Team - and we want you to let us know who you think should be in the running.

Log in to the forum, find the thread called 'Owls Greatest - Nominations' (it's at the top of the '100% Wednesday' section) and tell us the players you think deserve to be in the poll and the positions they played (our memory ain't what it used to be!)..

The Vital SWFC editors have our own favourites - but we'd like you to add to that list before June 2nd by nominating the players you'd like to see in the poll. On June 2nd we'll start the poll with the Owls Greatest Ever Goalkeeper.

Sheridan (pictured above), Sterland, Waddle, Springett, Nilsson.. the list goes on, legends all. Maybe there's an unsung hero that is your particular favourite?

We wouldn't want to miss him out. Nominate that player today. And we'll need a team manager too!
