Calling Young Budding Owls!

Calling Young Budding Owls!

Always wanted to pull on the famous blue and white stripes? Aged between 6 and 16? Well now's your chance with the Young Owls trials this weekend.

The club are looking for new players to come along to their close-season trials over this weekend for all their age groups ahead of the new 2007/08 campaign.

The trials will take place at a number of locations, including Hillsborough Park and Sheffield Hallam University today (Friday), Saturday, Sunday and Monday - and for players who can't make the dates there's also the possibility of additional trials being organised.

The Young Owls are a participation-level club which are run in partnership with the SWFC Community Programme and run seperately from the Owls' Academy set-up. The club have been running since the 1970's and operate in the Sheffield Junior Sunday League.

The club have been going from strength to strength since their launch and are looking to add to their trophy cabinet with a new intake of players for the next season.

Anyone interested should visit the official Young Owls website, linked below, to find out times of when and where the trials are taking place for their respective age groups, and also for contact details.
