Adams Considering Robins Switch

Former Owls midfielder Steve Adams is looking to get his stop-start career back on track by admitting he'd consider a move to link up with Paul Sturrock at Swindon Town.

Adams fell out of favour at S6 since Brian Laws took the reigns from Sturrock in November and was one of a number of players to be released from contract since the end of last season.

And the former Plymouth Argyle man could well follow former Owls Barry Corr and Lee Peacock to Wiltshire after admitting a move to the County Ground would be considered 'very seriously'.

The midfielder was a key force in helping Sturrock and his Pilgrims to promotion from League Two before following the Scot to Hillsborough and helping Wednesday achieve promotion from League One at the first time of asking.

And he could well make up a 'Wednesday mark two' side that will be taking on the likes of Leeds United and Nottingham Forest after the Robins achieved promotion from League Two last term.

Adams has admitted that he has yet to have any contact from Swindon but has long been linked with a move to the League One club since Sturrock was appointed Robins boss.
