Owls' Ticket Sales Boost

Wednesday have reported that season tickets for the forthcoming season have been selling fast - with fans snapping up ten per cent more than this time last year.

The club have announced that they've already exceeded the 5,000 mark barrier - 10 per cent up on the same period this time last year - with a week still remaining for fans to get discounted prices.

And the news may come as a surprise to fans who believed ticket sales may be down despite the fantastic end to last season - with Wednesday implementing a number of changes to season tickets at the end of the campaign.

The club decided to increase ticket prices following the Owls' most successful season since relegation from the Premiership last term and also told Wednesdayites they'd have to include photographic ID on all tickets from the 2007/08 campaign.

Fans are reminded that they still have until June 16 to take advantage of the biggest savings available to renew their season tickets or until June 30 for new season ticket holders.

June 16th for discounted season ticket renewals, June 30th discount deadline for new, one year season tickets :)

I'd be disappointed if we didn't get as many as we did last season after the year we've just had.

We should get as many as we did last season spirty don't worry about that. We've sold 5,000 but there's still 2 months to go until the start of the season!
