'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Owls Attitude Key For Laws

Wednesday boss Brian Laws has revealed that he'll be looking to bring players with the right attitude in to the club to add to the team spirit ahead of the new campaign.

The rumour mill has been in full swing since the end of last season with numerous players linked with a move to S6 in the summer.

And although Laws has already revealed that he's looking to bring a number of players in to boost his squad ahead of the August 11 kick-off, he'll be looking for players with the right attitude as well as the right attributes.

'I want to sign players who can nurture our squad not only on the field but off it,' Laws told the Sheffield Star.

'We have a confident bunch already, and it's going to be vital for us to keep the dressing-room spirit right. Having a positive attitude is going be an important ingredient for us, one of our strengths.

'We already have a squad that makes us confident about next season. I do want to strengthen it; I will strengthen it. It's just a case of when.'

Laws made a big thing of the team spirit at the club when he arrived from Scunthorpe back in November of last year and is clearly looking towards the off-field activities of the players as highly as their on-field abilities for the new season.
