Brian - Top Marks For Not Trying?

Brian - Top Marks For Not Trying?

Brian Laws is yet to make any signings in his first pre-season at S6 - we're asking you how many players you think will arrive at Hillsborough in our latest poll.

Fair is fair, Brian has been on holiday recently and it's not as though every team in the league have been buying players left, right, and centre, is it?

But us Wednesdayites are an impatient bunch, and I've already seen examples of people complaining about the lack of activity in the transfer market so far.

'We're missing out on all the best players with him being on holiday.' said Paul Smith.

'How can he go on holiday at this time of year?' said I.M Patient.

Please don't take those quotes seriously, you're getting the drift, hopefully...

Laws has already said that he won't be making wholesale changes to the playing staff next season - why would we? We finished the season with just one defeat in 13 games, a remarkable run for any team in any division.

But many fans also thought there was little need for a striker with our form in front of goal - and three strikers bagging at least ten goals apiece for the first time in years at S6, yet we seem to be linked with striker after striker so far in this close season.

So how many players do you think Brian will bring in over the summer? Log in and have your say now by voting in this week's poll - voting closes on Sunday!
