Friday saw the departure of Wednesday striker Steve Maclean to Cardiff City - and we want YOU to tell us whether it was the right decision to see him leave Hillsborough.
As I write this, we're yet to get an official response to the news from the club, despite the signing being confirmed on both the Cardiff City official site, and even Maclean's former club Scunthorpe United.
We're not sure, whether it was down to wage demands from Macca, whether Laws deemed him surplus to requirements, or whether there were other factors - but what we do know is that a lot of fans have had their opinions heard already on the Vital Sheffield Wednesday forum and in pubs and clubs accross the Steel City.
The former Rangers striker was undoubtedly a key part in the Owls' promotion from League One in just his first season in South Yorkshire before injury, and also finished joint top scorer last season to make his goals to games ratio in league matches for the Owls a very respectable 32 goals in just 60 starts.
But Owls boss Brian Laws has been linked with a number of strikers, including Billy Sharp and Southampton's Kenwyne Jones, in recent weeks, suggesting the Owls supremo wants a new hitman to bolster his firepower.
With Deon Burton and Marcus Tudgay now tied to new contracts, and the recent signing of Leon Clarke (we can leave that can of worms until another day), it seemed obvious that Maclean would be the one to leave should Laws opt for a new man to bang in the goals.
But what are your thoughts on Macca leaving the blue and white of the Owls for the blue and white of the Bluebirds? Have your say by voting in this week's poll, and also on the official Vital Sheffield Wednesday forum.
