No Interest In Graham

Wednesday could still have forgotten man David Graham on their books next season after Owls boss Brian Laws revealed there has yet to be any interest in the striker.

Laws is keen to get the former Wigan Athletic and Torquay man off the Wednesday books before the start of the 2007-08 campaign to add extra funds for potential transfer targets.

The Scot was loaned out to League Two club Torquay United who suffered relegation from the Football League last term, and can't afford to follow up their interest in signing Graham on a full-time deal.

And although he's had further loan spells in League One with Huddersfield Town and Bradford City, Laws is disappointed that no interest has been shown in the striker.

'You have to work to a budget; you can only fill your pot so far, and we need to move on one or two players who are not likely to figure for us,' he told the Sheffield Star.

Laws has already revealed that he wants to bring two more players in to bolster his squad, with Steve Watson already set to fill one gap while a new striker is the target for the other spot.

But the sale of Graham, either full-time or on a loan deal, could well release further funds to bring another player in to the club over the summer.

Cant blame other teams for not showing interest.
S26OWL
and i thought there would be a que a mile long for him!!
FUTURES BLUE N WHITE
his problem is essentially that he's a goalscoring forward who doesn't score goals. At least that plagued him at Valley Parade. Can't do much for his confidence though...
Wellers
Maybe he will be our secret weapon next year when we have sold all our best players ?
haxeyowl
He should have been sacked last season! if the reports of him going AWL and not turning for training he needed sacking. If I go missing from my work place and nobody knows were I am my boss would give me my marching orders dam quick. Just because he a highly paid footballer do this mean that the same rule should not apply to him as it do to the rest of us?
Nightowl
I think the reports were wrong Nightowl he just went missing on the pitch I think
haxeyowl
I can`t argue with that Haxey :)

My revolver is taking an intrest in him at the moment, so i'll give it another 2 weeks and if still here i will use it!!!
will it ever happen
