Owls Call Press Conference

Wednesday have called a press conference for 2pm on Friday regarding the takeover situation at Hillsborough.

There have been numerous rumours doing the rounds in recent weeks about a takeover of Wednesday, with Irish billionnaire Sean Quinn and former Everton director Paul Gregg linked with the club.

But Wednesday fans could now at last see some news on the situation, which the Owls have been relatively quiet on despite huge interest from fans.

Would they not just issue a statement if they were not going to be a takeover, so the way that i see it is thet their is only going to be good news on friday, why tell the national press thats their press conferance if its only going to interest wednesday fans, lets all keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best! also unless the sining coinsides with the press conferance then their will be nothing said about the sining i dnt think. Radio Sheffield said this morning that the Gregg deal was off, so I'm not getting my hopes up. I'd guess this is Allen wanting as many people as possible to know that although he said we would definitely have investment, it's not his fault we haven't. It's everyone else's. Probably Wednesdayite and the "Yobs" in the North stand if he can't think of anyone new to blame.

I fear it`s the news that no one wants to put any money into the club, if it is, it will interesting to see how many other people Mr Allen and the board can blame for there failure to close a deal. I hope that I`am wrong!

Ronaldinho and Kaka' are set to sign....lol. Only kidding, we are going in to Administration!
