Hoddle Keen On Keeping Ross

Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle has expressed his desire to keep on-loan Wednesday full-back Maurice Ross until the end of the season after impressing at the Molineux club.

The former-Rangers player has been frozen out at Hillsborough after failing to impress Paul Sturrock.

Sturrock has said Ross will never play for Wednesday again, and is expected to agree to Wolves extending the 24-year-old's deal until the end of the season. His current deal ends on Wednesday.

Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey said they've made an offer to Ross and talks are continuing.

Ross has made just one league start for the Owls and that came away at Leicester City where the Owls got beat 2-0. He made over 60 appearances for the Glasgown side and also recieved international honours during his time there.
