Ross Completes Wolves Move

Owls right-back Maurice Ross has completed a permanent transfer to Wolverhampton Wanderers after impressing while on loan at the Midlands club.

As reported on Vital Sheffield Wednesday earlier this week, Ross has signed a contract until the end of the season after being loaned out by the Owls.

Ross failed to make an impression at Hillsborough and only started one league game for the Owls in the away match at Leicester City, where Wednesday lost 2-0.

Ross told the official Wolves site: 'When I arrived at Wolves I hadn't played much in the previous six months hence I was only taken on until January but I am really happy to sign now until the summer, it will give Wolves a chance to take a longer look at me and vice versa. It will also give me the chance to play my part in trying to help the club achieve its aim of winning promotion.'

The former Glasgow Rangers right-back has started just four games for the Wanderers since moving to Molineux at the end of October, but will be hoping to impress manager Glenn Hoddle to get a longer contract at the end of the season.
