Owls Anticipate Cup Draw

We've not been in this position for years, but Owls fans have something other than the clash with Bristol City to look forward to this coming Saturday.

The Owls will be involved in the draw for the third round of the Carling Cup for the first time since their route to the Semi-Final against Blackburn Rovers many moons ago.

The draw will be televised live on Sky Sports' 'Soccer Saturday' programme at approximately 12:15pm, with Owls fans being in the know ahead of their clash with the Ashton Gate club, which is also on Sky on Saturday afternoon.

The Owls swept aside Rotherham United and Hartlepool en route to the third round, and Owls fans will be keen to find out if they face Premiership opposition, or one of the big four - who enter in round three following their involvement in European competition.

Morecambe turned over Wolves though!

Morecambe can't keep beating good opposition away. Anyway, with our start to the season, we're not far off their quality. :-) I'd like an "easy" tie next and then something to really get excited about in round 4.
