Owls Legends Gather For Elysha

A host of Wednesday legends including Chris Waddle and Mel Sterland will gather for a charity match to raise money to help local girl Elysha Robertson.

The five-year-old suffers from the world's rarest disease, whereby she can only communicate by moving her eyes and feet, and a charity match is being held to aid Elysha and help fund a specially customised vehicle to help her get to school.

The match will take place at Rotherham United's Millmoor ground on Sunday, September 30 and will see 'Mel Sterland's All Stars' take on 'John Breckin's All Stars'.

The Owls side will include legends such as Mel Sterland, Chris Waddle, David Hirst, Terry Curran and Kevin Pressman and will kick-off at Millmoor at 11am.

Tickets are priced at £5 for adults and £3 concessions, and are available by contacting the Wednesday ticket office at Hillsborough or calling 0870 999 1867 and selecting option 2.
