Keane On Kav?
Irish loanee Graham Kavanagh has only played two matches in the famous blue and white stripes but Owls fans are already interested in keeping him longer than his one-month loan.
The Sunderland loanee was inspiration in helping Wednesday to their first points of the season when they defeated Hull 1-0 in Kavanagh's first match on loan at Hillsborough on Saturday.
But one-month may be all he gets to impress at S6, with Sunderland manager Roy Keane pondering taking the midfielder back to the Stadium of Light once his loan deal is up.
The Manchester United legend came to Hillsborough on Wednesday night to see his man in action during the Owls' 3-0 Carling Cup defeat to Everton, and insists he still has chance while on the books in Wearside.
'I went to see Kav and he got through the game well - and by all accounts he did well last weekend,' Keane told the official Sunderland website.
'He's had two games in three or four days and they (Wednesday) have another two games coming up in close succession. Kav held his own last night which was good to see. Even the lads we have on loan, it's important we keep an eye on them.
'Any player under contract at Sunderland has always got a chance here.'
The former Republic of Ireland international has already stated that ideally he'd love to return to Sunderland to ply his trade in the Premiership but would consider a full time move to Wednesday should his future lie away from the Stadium of Light.
