King Paul Makes Argyle Return

Former Wednesday boss Paul Sturrock has moved back in to the Championship sooner than expected after returning to manage Plymouth Argyle.

Sturrock was revealed as the Pilgrims boss for the second time today after Ian Holloway left the manager's post at Home Park to take the Leicester City job.

The Scotsman had helped Swindon to promotion last season and to a respectable position in League One this season, but didn't need to think twice to return to his former hunting ground.

And King Paul will make his return to Hillsborough sooner than expected, with Argyle penned in to make the trip up to Hillsborough on Saturday, April 12 - with Sturrock sure for a fine reception on his return back to S6.

Sturrock steered Wednesday to promotion from League One at the first time of asking via the Play-Offs and helped Wednesday stay in the Championship before getting the sack - to most fans' disliking - the following season.

Bad mistake for me, never works out the second time around. Good luck to him though.
