Blades Ticket Reminder

We've had a number of queries both through e-mail and on the forums about the ticket arrangements for the Sheffield derby next month, so here's a quick reminder.

Season ticket holders and members will get priority for the match, scheduled for Saturday, January 19 at 12.45pm, and are able to buy tickets from December 17 - as well as being able to buy one extra ticket for a friend on top of their own, with these tickets only being available in person from the ticket office or by postal applications only.

So if you don't have a season ticket or membership, but know somebody who does, then you should be in luck with getting yourself a ticket.

If not, you'll have to attend two of the Owls' four home fixtures over the Christmas period and produce the ticket stubs to quality for a ticket for the derby.

These four matches are Colchester, Coventry, Watford and Preston.

Tickets for general sale will be available from Wednesday, January 2, but no other ticket arrangaments will be made, ie you can't just turn up at the ticket office without membership or any ticket stubs, and expect to get a ticket for the big one!

Hope this makes things a bit clearer...

Im just going to stay in the pub and watch it. I'll be far to nervous at the match and will need a drink or ten to calm my nerves down.

What a brilliant way of regulating tickets for the Utd game, just go to 2 out of the 4 games over Xmas......Its a 500 mile round trip to watch a home game for me and probably for alot of other Life long Wednesday fans as well. Is it any wonder Hillsborough is never a sell out.

Seems like you're only getting 3,000 tickets for the game at the Lane. Good luck getting one of those!

I will be in the pub as I, like many others live too far away to get to two home games over Christmas. Down the beer and up the owls.
