Hartson Rumours Resurface

Rumours that Wednesday boss Brian Laws is looking to bring experienced striker John Hartson to Hillsborough have resurfaced in the national media this week.

The Mirror is today reporting that the out-of-favour West Brom striker, who had an unsuccessful loan stint at Norwich this season, is set for a loan move to S6 for the rest of the season in the January transfer window.

The rumours linking Wednesday with the former Celtic and West Ham man have been on-going since the start of the season, withh Baggies boss Tony Mowbray not including the Welshman is his first team plans.

Struggling Norwich City took a chance on the hitman earlier in the season but Hartson failed to have a big impact at Carrow Road, being restricted mainly to substitute appearances for the Canaries.

But with injury concerns over long-term absentee Francis Jeffers, and further short-term injuries to Deon Burton and Akpo Sodje, Laws could well see Hartson as the ideal signing come January.

I say buy him, we need some more hard men in our team. We lack aggression.

There's only just enough room on the graphic for him :)

we dont need him or want him

We need a brick *****house to rile up the opposition and win free kicks around the edge of the box. He could also get other people sent off. These kind of sly tactics are invaluable in a division where very little separates the quality of the teams.

If we wanted a big lard ass to stick up front, we could get Tango off the kop, he would probably play for free and his goal ratio would be about the same. Also if Norwich didn't like the look of him why the hell should we ?.

past his best for me . but if he comes lets get behind the lad and hopefully he will deliver bcos this could be his last chance of getting some money out of the game
