I think we need a ferritt up top with Mads - when he started with Lowe the few times it looked like a pretty decent partnership but DJ not looking to Lowe ( or that's the way it seems) so another player of that ilk is the order for strikers for me . Read somewhere this-morning Chopra for around 1.6mil which I realise is quite obviously not going to happen but someone like that would be a good starting place..
Matty Fryatt and Mads up top would be superb??????

You don't get many 'where the bloody hell did he come from?' players these days. Teddy Sheringham was like that, one second completely out of the loop, the next second he'd scored out of nothing, Mark Bright was similar, but not quite as good, but a nearly one in two scoring ration served us very well.

We do have a player like that and he's called JJ. For 95% of the season he's out of the loop and then when it's contract time he pops his head up with a couple of eye-catching performances

When he's on the pitch, I often think that his agent missed the mark by not negotiating a disappearance bonus.

JJ has had a pretty poor couple of years all in, but in the gap between Ben Marshall and Antonio, he scored a few goals which kept us in touch with promotion. Shame is, he didn't have the same impact for the other 7 or so months of the season.

There's a JJ argument?!
Why are you thanking him, is he being released?

no not yet but this should be the end surely!!! there was question marks about his competency in league one - there are people (me included) that are unsure as to whether Roberts could do a job consistantly in the championship and i would pick him over JJ everyday of the week.

Sometimes, you just need to change things about. The Wednesday-JJ relationship has gone on too long if you ask me.
