As a 70 year old OAP, I regard the Club 1867 idea as being rather age discriminatory. Whilst I decided that my health was reliable enough to invest in a 3 year season ticket, I am loathe to re-invest in something nebulous that may never happen in my lifetime. In these days of rolling 12 month contracts for managers, I would have thought that a rolling 3 year season ticket would have been a far bigger incentive to invest in the future of the club. I would gladly have 'risked' an extra year on top of the two years that are still left on the original 3 year deal. I know that many people took up the initial option and am sure that most of these would have been happy to add on a year extension this season, and again next season, hence retaining the 3 year deal. Has the club missed a trick here, as well as being a little discriminatory to us old timers?
