WEDNESDAY face a tough task of securing their first points on the road tonight when they travel to Charlton Athletic in front of the Sky cameras.
The Owls have enjoyed a perfect start in npower League One at Hillsborough but have so far failed to replicate their form away from home, with no points to show.
Owls boss Gary Megson will be looking for his troops to put that right at The Valley tonight, but they'll face a tough challenge against the high-flying Addicks.
Owls boss Gary Megson told the official SWFC website:
'One of the things that we need to sort very quickly is the fact that we have played four games at home and won them all and four games away from home and lost them all.
'We have to be a lot more resilient and a lot more on the front foot because we look an entirely different side away from home than we do at Hillsborough.
'All the things you would view as a negative away from home are near enough the opposite at Hillsborough. And if you can do it at Hillsborough, you should be able to do it anywhere.'
Addicks boss Chris Powell will make a late decision on whether to start star striker Bradley Wright-Phillips tonight.
The former Plymouth Argyle man missed Charlton's last game through a knee injury and although he's nearing full fitness, Powell won't want to rush him back and risk a further set-back.
The Addicks have picked up 13 points from a possible 15 on offer so far this term and will aim to continue their top form in front of the Sky cameras.
Athletic added Michael Smith to their attacking options from Darlington on transfer deadline day and he's set to be included in Charlton's matchday squad.
Should Charlton's star striker get the nod to start after suffering a knee injury, he'll pose a big threat to the Owls defence.
Owls boss Gary Megson could include new signings Ryan Lowe and David Kasnik in the squad for the trip to London.
Both players penned deals at Hillsborough last week and could be thrown straight in at the deep end.
Megson is expected to ring the changes to the side that bowed out of the JP Trophy at Bradford City last week.
Liam Palmer (Scotland U21s) and Reda Johnson (Benin) will both be unavailable due to international call-ups. But the Owls have no fresh injury or suspension concerns for the clash.
Lowe already has seven goals to his name this season and will look to continue his top form for Wednesday after making the switch to Hillsborough last week. Expected to make his debut tonight.
Form:
Charlton: W-W-D-W-W
Wednesday: L-W-L-W-L
Head-to-Head:
Charlton wins: 16
Wednesday wins: 18
Draws: 11
Last Time Out:
Wednesday 2-2 Charlton
Hillsborough, 15/01/11
Wednesday battled back from 2-0 down to take a share of the spoils the last time the two sides met. Scott Wagstaff and Johnnie Jackson put the Addicks 2-0 up inside six minutes before second-half strikes from Paul Heffernan and Reda Johnson levelled the scores.
