Wednesday will aim to bounce back from their midweek horror-show at Stevenage when they visit Yeovil Town in npower League One on Saturday.
The Owls, as if you didn't already know, slumped to a morale-slamming 5-1 reverse at Stevenage on Tuesday night and manager Gary Megson will be calling for a big improvement at Huish Park.
Terry Kiverton and his men have endured a mix bag of results to open their season but will go into the clash full of confidence following their midweek home win over Wycombe.
Owls boss Gary Megson told the Sheffield Star:
'I put the team out and dictate the way I want us to play. I didn't see any of those things against Stevenage. They must not turn round and say it's my fault - this blame culture has been going on for a very long time.
'I've got to lift them, but they've got to lift themselves because they get well paid. If you did your job as badly as they did you'd lose it. So would every single person in any walk of life. The footballers have to accept that's not good enough.
'It's [the blame culture] not just in the dressing room, it's at the whole club.'
Yeovil will go into the weekend contest full of confidence but they'll be without their captain Paul Wotton after he picked up his fifth booking of the season in midweek.
It will mean manager Terry Skiverton will be forced to change a winning team for the visit of the Owls.
Skiverton has hinted that midfielder Dominic Blizzard could come in for Wotton and have the chance to impress.
Yeovil secured the loan signing of Watford's Gavin Massey on Monday and the Town boss is still hoping to secure the signing of another striker in time for Saturday's game.
Former Owls hitman Steve Maclean is set to feature for Yeovil after signing on at the club in the summer.
The Scottish hitman helped Wednesday to promotion from League One before but now he'll be looking to score the goals against us for new side Yeovil.
Owls boss Gary Megson is expected to ring the changes for the trip to Huish Park following the midweek collapse at Stevenage.
Unhappy with his defence, players such as Reda Johnson could be stepping in at the back as a possible replacement for Rob Jones, who was subbed at half-time on Tuesday.
James O'Connor will also be pushing for a starting role after featuring as another second-half sub at Stevenage.
Wednesday have no fresh injury concerns but it's expected to be too soon for striker Ryan Lowe to start, though he could feature on the bench. Chris O'Grady remains sidelined.
Madine has been in good form in front of goal and will aim to continue that at Yeovil.
Form:
Yeovil: W-L-D-L-D
Wednesday: L-W-D-L-W
Head-To-Head:
Yeovil wins: 0
Wednesday wins: 2
Draws: 2
Last Time Out:
Wednesday 2-2 Yeovil
25/01/11 - Hillsborough, League One
The Owls could only snatch a point late on against ten-man Yeovil at S6. Gary Madine had levelled a Dean Bowditch opener before Paul Huntington put the visitors back ahead. Red cards to Luke Ayling and Adam Virgo allowed Reda Johnson to level the scores with four minutes to go.
