Sheffield Wednesday signed defender Julian Bennett on a two-year deal in July 2011.
Bennett joined the Forest academy as a 14-year old before crossing the Midlands to sign for Walsall. In January 2006 the defender returned to the City Ground, under then Forest boss Gary Megson and went on to make 106 appearances for the Reds.
On Boxing Day 2008, he suffered serious knee ligament damage which kept him out of action until the early part of 2010. A tough, no-nonsense defender, it is hoped that he will become a firm favourite with the Wednesday fans.
