Sheffield Wednesday completed the loan signing of central defender Danny Batth from Premiership side Wolverhampton Wanderers in July 2011. He joined the Owls initially until January 2012.

The 20-year-old enters his second temporary stint at Hillsborough after joining Wednesday during the latter part of the 2010-11 campaign. He went on to make ten appearances under Gary Megson at the heart of the defence alongside Rob Jones.

Batth is a graduate of the Wolves academy, signing professional terms at the end of the 2008-09 season.
