Chris Lines joined on a three-year deal from Bristol Rovers in August 2011. The Bristol-born midfield man rose up through the ranks at Rovers and went on to establish himself as a first team regular and made over 150 appearances for Rovers, scoring 21 times.
Since the departure of fellow team-mate Rickie Lambert, Lines turned himself into the set-piece taker for the squad. He quickly became a firm fans favourite, with his accurate free-kicks.
