Versatile midfielder Chris Sedgwick became Sheffield Wednesday's first recruit of summer 2010, agreeing a two year deal at Hillsborough. A lifelong Wednesdayite, he brings a wealth of experience to S6 having stored over 400 senior starts for the Lilywhites and first club Rotherham United.

The native Sheffielder is equally effective down either flank and was delighted to link up with his hometown club. Billy Davies, his former manager at Preston was once quoted as saying that Sedgwick puts more effort in than another other player he had ever seen.
