Wednesdayite Introduction

Wednesdayite Introduction
Wednesdayite is the trading name of Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Society Ltd., a Supporters Trust registered under the Industrial and Provident Society Act of 1965, registration number 29202R. The Society holds 4,732, 397 shares in Sheffield Wednesday Football Club which represents 9.46% of the issued share capital.

It gives ordinary fans the chance to voice their views and opinions in the decision making process of the football club as one. The more members, the louder the voice, and that's why Wednesdayite need YOU to become a member and have a say in the going's on at YOUR football club!

The Owls Trust was re-branded as Wednesdayite early in 2005 after a re-shuffle in board members and the Chairman. The trust felt a complete new re-launch of the group was necessary to maximise it's potential to the ordinary fan, and thus 'wednesdayite' - the word to describe the Wednesday support as a whole - was created.

The kind people over at Wednesdayite have given us permission to use the FAQ section of their site - which should answer all the questions you have about the organisation, and hopefully make it clear that joining the trust would benefit both yourself and the club.

FEEL free to browse the 'WEDNESDAYITE Q & A' and 'JOIN WEDNESDAYITE' sections for more information on the Sheffield Wednesday supporters trust.
